Conference/Symposium

Symposium Series

The Bulletin of Marine Science understands the value that an organized conference can bring to your field. An international conference elevates a topic of interest, provides a forum for international collaboration, and captures the present state of knowledge, ideally with the publication of a dedicated special issue. As part of our long-term vision, the Bulletin is teaming with our conference-planning partners to provide an appealing and cost-effective option for organizing a conference in your area of study. Should you choose to work with us, the Bulletin would be responsible for the overall symposium logistics, budgeting, event planning/execution, and (if applicable) the resulting publication processes. Part of the convenience of collaborating with the Bulletin for your conference is that we take care of the technical aspects of a conference so you can focus on the science.

BMS Symposium Series Topics

BMS will consider proposals for conference topics. BMS Symposium Series topics must be approved by the journal's editorial board. Interested parties should contact the editor and provide basic information regarding the proposed conference topic, a list of potential contributions if available, and its timing.
