APCRS 2023 SINGAPORE
The Bulletin of Marine Science is partnering with the organizing committee of the 5th Asia-Pacific Coral Reef Symposium for the publication of the conference proceedings. The symposium will take place from 19 to 23 June, 2023 at the National University of Singapore (NUS) University Town (UTown) facilities. For information about the symposium, please click here.
Below is a list of experts who have accepted an invitation from symposium organizers to act as guest editors of this special issue. There are no publication charges for articles for subscription-only access. Open access fees will be offered at a discout based on consultation with symposium organizers. We invite all registered conference participants to submit manuscripts for publication starting on 26 June, 2023.
The deadline for manuscript submission is 30 September, 2023 (extended to 22 October, 2023).
To submit a manuscript please visit the Bulletin’s home page and click on “Submit a Manuscript”. In the “Comments” section of your submission form, please indicate the mansucript is part of APCRS. This will allow us to apply all relevant fee waivers and discounts.

Dr Huang’s Reef Ecology Lab research focuses on the diversity, ecology, and restoration of coral reef ecosystems in Singapore and the Southeast Asian region.
ZEEHAN JAAFAR

Dr Jaafar’s research interests include the evolutionary history and drivers of fish diversity and the phenomics and systematics of percomorph fishes.
LIONEL NG

Dr Ng’s research interests include coral reef rehabilitation, ecology, and environmental management.
PETER TODD

Dr Todd’s research focuses on organism-driven interactions in nearshore waters and more broadly, in the understanding of the ecology and functioning of tropical coastal marine organisms and communities.
KARENNE TUN
National Parks Board, Singapore
Dr Tun is a coral reef biologist and director of the Coastal and Marine Environment Branch at the National Biodiversity Centre, National Parks Board of Singapore.
